What VideoBB collects and why
What VideoBB collects and why: your Google sign-in details, what you post, playback data, logs and payment IDs. And what we never do.
VideoBB collects only what it needs to run your account, play videos and take payments. It runs no ad networks or third-party trackers, and it does not sell personal data.
What is collected, and why

The details you give Google stay with Google. VideoBB receives only your name, email address and profile picture when you sign in; see creating an account.
What VideoBB does not do
- No advertising networks or trackers run on VideoBB pages or in the embedded player.
- Promoted placements are chosen by the page they appear on, never by a profile of you.
- Personal data is not sold or shared with data brokers.
- Embedded players on other sites do not read cookies from the page around them.
Cookies and browser storage
One session cookie keeps you signed in, and one protects forms against cross-site requests. If you arrive through a creator's referral link, a first-party cookie holds only that channel's handle for 30 days. Your browser's local storage remembers player volume, your chosen quality and unfinished uploads.
Payments
Stripe handles card payments for tips. VideoBB never sees or stores card numbers. Premium is paid from earnings; see billing and receipts.
Children
VideoBB is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices and rights
You can see which Google account is linked on your account page, and close your account there at any time; see deleting your account. The full privacy policy explains retention periods.
Download a copy of your data
- Open your account page and find the Your data box.
- Press Download my data. Your browser saves a ZIP file straight away.
- Open the ZIP. A README file explains what each file holds.

The files are JSON, a plain text format that most tools can open. Video files are not included. Other people's personal data is left out too: comments others wrote on your videos and the list of who follows you are not in the file. You can download your data once an hour.
