Delete your account

Close your VideoBB account from the account page. See what to do first, what goes at once, when files are deleted, and why it is final.

You can close your VideoBB account yourself from the account page. Closing removes your videos from the site at once and signs you out. It cannot be undone.

Before you close your account

  • Request a payout of any earnings balance. Once the account is closed, you cannot sign in to reach it. See requesting a payout.
  • Make sure you have your own copies of the original files you want to keep.
  • Press Download my data on the account page to keep a copy of your video details, comments, playlists and earnings; see what VideoBB collects.
  • Tell your viewers where they can find you next.

How to close your account

  1. Open your account page.
  2. Find the Close account box at the bottom.
  3. Type DELETE in capital letters to confirm.
  4. Press Close my account. You are signed out right away.

What happens next

Straight away

  • Your videos are taken off the site and can no longer be watched.
  • You are signed out.
  • The account is closed, so that Google account can no longer sign in to VideoBB.

Within 30 days

The video files themselves are deleted from storage within 30 days, as the privacy policy explains.

Why it cannot be undone

A closed account cannot be restored, and deleted files cannot be recovered. If you only want a break, you can set your videos to private instead and keep the account.

Smaller steps if you only need a break

  • Set your videos to Private or Unlisted in the studio. They stop showing in feeds, and you can undo it later.
  • Turn off comments on your videos, or hold all new comments for review.
  • Remove any saved Gemini or Higgsfield API key with its Remove button, so it can no longer be used.
Closing an account is permanent. Take your payout and your own copies of your files first.
