VideoBB Creator Program
A monthly profit share for the channels that make VideoBB worth paying for. Every month, 50% of net Premium revenue is divided between enrolled creators.
Channels with at least 100 followers, 4 public videos in the last 30 days and 100 watch hours can apply from the studio. Enrolled creators are paid monthly for Premium watch time, the new sign-ups they bring in and the Premium memberships those sign-ups start.
How the money works
Premium costs $9.99 for 30 days or $79 for a year, for 4K playback and higher daily limits. After fees and taxes, 50% of that revenue goes into the creator pool.
How the pool is split
The pool is split three ways. Each part is shared by a different measure.

Ongoing enrollment
Staying in the program
A person reviews each application within five business days. Once accepted, you stay enrolled month after month, as long as your channel keeps meeting the requirements above. Earnings start counting on the first day of the month after you are accepted. That way, every creator in a month is measured over the same period.
If your numbers drop
If your channel drops below a requirement, you are not removed at once. You get the rest of that month and the next one to recover. After that, enrollment pauses until you reapply.
Three ways to earn
Make videos Premium members want to finish. Longer, better videos earn more than more videos.

- Original work. Videos you made, or made with people who agreed to it. Re-uploads, compilations of other people's clips, and film, TV or sports footage you do not hold rights to are not eligible.
- You are part of it. Your voice, face, commentary, performance or craft should be in the video, not only a feed of someone else's content.
- Follow the guidelines. Everything in the community guidelines applies, and 18+ content is not allowed.
- No artificial activity. Paid views, view exchanges, looping players, fake accounts and self-referrals are removed from the numbers and end your enrollment.
How referral links work
Add ?ref= and your handle to any VideoBB link, for example videobb.com/?ref=yourhandle or a link to one of your videos. When a signed-out visitor opens it, VideoBB remembers your channel for 30 days. If they create an account in that time, the sign-up is credited to you, and if that account later starts Premium, the conversion is credited too. Your own accounts never count.
Referral links do not change what the page shows or where it ranks. The canonical address stays the same, so sharing them has no effect on search.
Payments and terms
- Earnings are calculated after each month closes and paid during the following month.
- The payout minimum is $50. Smaller balances roll over to the next month. See how to request a payout.
- You need a completed tax form before your first payout: W-9 for US creators, W-8BEN for everyone else.
- Payouts are available in the countries our payment provider supports; you choose your country when you apply.
- Your studio shows the Premium watch hours, sign-ups and conversions counted for you, and your share of program watch time, as the month runs.
Tips are separate from the program. When a viewer tips you, you receive 90% of the amount. You can also spend your balance on Premium: read paying for Premium with your earnings.
How to apply
Applying takes about two minutes. Everything happens in your studio, and a person reviews each application within five business days.
Open the studio
Sign in with Google and go to Studio › Creator Program.
Check the requirements
Each requirement shows your current number and a progress bar, so you know where you stand.
Apply
Confirm your content is original, pick your payout country and tell us about your channel.
Start earning
Once accepted, your dashboard shows this month’s Premium watch hours, your share, sign-ups and conversions.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the money come from?
From Premium. Each month a fixed share of net Premium revenue goes into the creator pool, which is divided between enrolled creators based on the three earning categories.
Do I need Premium to join?
No. Any channel that meets the requirements can apply. Your viewers do not need Premium either, but only watch time from signed-in Premium members counts toward the watch-time share, because that is the revenue being shared.
How is watch time counted?
Watch time is counted for genuine viewing of your videos by signed-in Premium members, and the totals update periodically. Your studio shows the Premium watch hours credited to you as the month runs.
When am I paid?
Earnings are calculated after the month closes and paid during the following month once your balance reaches the payout minimum. Balances below the minimum roll over.
Can I lose my place in the program?
Yes, if your channel stops meeting the monthly requirements, if a video is removed for a copyright or policy violation, or if we find artificial views, sign-ups or watch time. We tell you why and how to reapply.
