Following channels
Follow a VideoBB channel from its page or any of its videos. Your Following page then shows their new videos, grouped by day.
Press Follow on a channel's page, or under any of its videos, to follow it. New videos from the channels you follow then appear on your Following page. Press the button again to unfollow.
How to follow and unfollow
- Sign in with Google. Following needs an account.
- Press Follow on the channel header, or next to the channel name under a video.
- The button changes to Following. The channel's new videos now reach your Following page.
- To stop, press the button again.
You cannot follow your own channel. To find new channels to follow, browse the channels directory.
Your Following page
Open Following from the account menu under your picture. The page has three parts.
Your numbers
At the top you see how many channels you follow, how many new videos they posted this week, how many were active this week, and how many have been quiet for 30 days or more.
Your channels
- Every channel you follow, with the date of its last upload.
- Sort them by Recent, A–Z or Popular.
- Type in the filter box to find one fast.
- Click a channel to see only its videos.
The feed
New videos are grouped under Today, Yesterday, This week, This month and Earlier. Use the tabs to show Everything, only Videos or only Shorts.
For creators: your followers
Your follower count shows on your channel header and on your studio dashboard.
Followers and the Creator Program
You need 100 followers, among other things, to join the Creator Program.
Hide the count, or greet new followers
In the Advanced tab of your channel settings you can hide your follower count and write a welcome message for new followers. In the Layout tab you can set a trailer that only people who do not follow you yet will see.
