Report a video, comment or channel
Report a VideoBB video, comment or channel that breaks the rules. Pick a reason and add details. A person reviews every report.
To report something, use the Report option on the video, comment or channel. Pick a reason and add a few details. A person reads every report, and you do not need to be signed in to send one.
How to report
- A video: press the three-dot menu under the player and choose Report. On a Short, press Report at the side.
- A comment: press Report under the comment.
- A channel: press the flag button on the channel header.
- Choose a reason, add details and press Send report.
Reasons you can choose
| Reason | Use it for |

| Spam or misleading | Fake titles, scams, repeated posts, link spam |
| Copyright | Use the DMCA process instead if you own the work |
| Harassment or hate | Attacks on people or groups, threats, sharing private details |
| Violence | Violent content or threats of violence |
| Sexual content | Sexual material, or anything sexual involving minors |
| Misinformation | Content that spreads false claims |
| Other | Anything else, including a video that will not play |
Add useful details
You can write up to 1,000 characters. Say which rule you think it breaks, and give the time in the video where it happens, such as 2:15. Clear details help the moderator act faster.
What happens after you report
Your report goes to a moderation queue. A moderator checks it against the community guidelines and decides.
- If nothing breaks the rules, the report is closed and nothing changes.
- If it does, the video or comment is removed, or the account is suspended.
- Some cases also lead to a strike on the channel; see strikes, suspensions and appeals.
You are not told the outcome, but content that breaks the rules disappears from the site.

A report is not a legal notice. Copyright owners should follow the DMCA process, explained in copyright and DMCA notices.
Comments on your own videos
You can delete any comment on your own videos straight away. Report it as well if the person is abusing others; see comments: rules and moderation.
