Your channel and the studio
Your channel is your public page on VideoBB. The studio is the private side, where you run your videos, edits, comments, stats and earnings.
Every VideoBB account is also a channel. Your channel is the public page people visit to watch your videos. The creator studio is the private side, where only you can manage what appears there.
Your public channel page
Your channel lives at an address like videobb.com/c/k7m2qp9xva. New channels get a random address, and you can pick your own once the channel has 100 views. The page shows your banner, display name, links and the sections you choose, such as Videos, Shorts, Playlists and About.
Make the channel yours
Add an avatar, a banner and a short tagline. Pick a featured video, or a trailer that only people who do not follow you yet will see. Every option is explained in channel settings explained.
Who can see what
- Public videos appear on your channel and in feeds.
- Unlisted videos play for anyone with the link but are not listed on your channel.
- Private videos are visible only to you, for example drafts and new edits.
A tour of the creator studio
The studio opens on a dashboard. It shows your total videos, views, likes and followers, a 28-day chart and a chart of views by hour. Below that is a list of your videos with their status, visibility and numbers. The tabs across the top lead to each tool.

| Playlists | Create public or private playlists. |
| Following | See new videos from the channels you follow. |
| Channel | Display name, channel address (from 100 views), branding, links, layout, upload defaults and comment rules. |
| Creator Program | Check your progress against the requirements and apply. |
| Earnings | Your balance, ledger, payouts and Premium from earnings. |
Edit details without leaving the page
Hover over a thumbnail in the studio list, in the editor list or over the editor preview, then press the pencil. A small window lets you change the title, description, category, tags, visibility and the comment and embed switches.
Where to start as a new creator
Follow the Get started list at the top of the studio. It has four steps: choose your display name, upload your first video, make a video public and get your custom channel address. Choosing a name comes first, because public videos and comments need one. Once the first three steps are done you can dismiss the list; see display names and channel addresses.
