VideoBB has eight free video tools that run on our servers with FFmpeg. Sign in with Google, upload a file of up to 4 GB, pick your options and download the result. Your files stay private and are deleted after 24 hours.
The eight tools

| Trim video | Cuts a clip by start and end time. A fast cut keeps the original encoding; a precise cut re-encodes for an exact frame |
| Resize video | Changes the height to any level from 144p to 2160p and keeps the shape |
| Rotate or flip | Turns the picture 90° either way or 180°, or mirrors it left to right or top to bottom |
| Mute video | Removes the sound and copies the picture unchanged |
| Video to GIF | Makes a looping GIF of 0.5 to 30 seconds, 320 to 800 pixels wide, at 10 to 25 frames per second |

How to use a tool
- Open the video tools page and choose a tool.
- Sign in with Google if you have not already.
- Drop a video or click to choose one. The upload is resumable, like a normal upload.
- Pick your options and press Start. A bar shows the progress.
- Press Download. For video results, you can also press Publish to my channel.
Limits
- 10 jobs in any 24 hours on a free account, 100 on Premium.
- Files of up to 4 GB each.
- Results are kept for 24 hours and then deleted. You can delete a job sooner with Delete on your tool jobs page.
- Uploading a file to a tool does not use your daily upload allowance. Publishing the result to your channel does, and it arrives as a private video.

The tool jobs page lists your recent jobs with their status, so you can download a result you left behind.
Which tool fixes which problem
A phone video plays sideways on a computer
Use the video converter, not the rotate tool. Phones often save a note that says which way is up. Converting applies that note to the picture itself, so the video plays upright everywhere. Use rotate or flip only when the picture was filmed the wrong way round.
The file is too big to upload or send
Use the video compressor with a target size, or lower the resolution with the resize tool.
You need only part of the video, or only the sound
Trim cuts out the part you want. Extract audio saves the sound as its own file, and Mute does the opposite. For a short clip to share in a chat, try video to GIF.
