Earnings: where the money comes from
VideoBB creators earn from tips and a monthly Creator Program pool. It all lands in one balance you can pay out or spend on Premium.
Your VideoBB earnings come from tips and, if you are in the Creator Program, a share of a monthly pool. Everything lands in one balance on your Earnings page. You can pay it out or spend it on Premium.
The ways you earn

Tips
Any signed-in viewer can send a tip of $1 to $500 from a watch page. The payment goes through Stripe, and you receive 90% of it. A tip can carry a short message, which shows in your ledger. Nobody can tip their own channel.
The Creator Program pool
Each month, half of net Premium revenue goes into a pool. It is split between members: 70% by Premium watch time, 15% by sign-ups you referred and 15% by Premium upgrades you referred. Your share is worked out after the month closes. The Creator Program article explains how to join.
Referrals
Program members get a referral link. People who sign up within 30 days of using it are credited to you, and so is their first Premium purchase.
Reading your Earnings page
Open Earnings in your studio. It has four parts.
- Four totals: available balance, earned this month, earned last month and lifetime earnings.
- A chart of the last 12 months, and a Where it came from breakdown by source.
- Two actions: buy Premium from your balance, or request a payout.
- The ledger: every tip, pool share, payout, refund and Premium purchase, with its date.
